Jakub Berut
// gameplay_programmer && indie_developer
Gameplay programmer with a producer's habit of shipping. Studio titles, live ops, and after-hours indie releases — I build systems that feel good in the hand and updates that land on time.
About
The short version, and the spec sheet.
Gameplay programmer since 2022, and associate producer along the way. Professionally I've worked on three studio titles — two shipped — plus an indie release built with a small team and a healthy stack of jam games.
Studio work taught me to write code that holds up under review and to collaborate tightly, every day. Indie work taught me everything else — input, networking, audio, VFX, physics — plus remote teamwork, working with publishers, exhibiting at events, and the basics of running a studio.
Evenings still go to new projects with a small team. Right now I'm looking for a stable role, a future publisher, and more good people in the industry to talk shop with.

Selected work
Two kinds of credits: titles I helped ship inside studio teams, and titles built end-to-end with small indie crews.
