the brief
Cooking Simulator is a physics-driven kitchen sim — 80+ recipes, 140+ ingredients, and every pan, plate and pepper grinder simulated. Shipped in 2019, it still runs a live player base across PC and consoles.
I joined in 2024, well after launch. As a programmer I own bugfixing, maintenance and seasonal gameplay updates; as associate producer I plan those updates and keep the team's workflow running.

what I owned
- Epic Online Services integration — implemented and manage EOS in the shipped title, alongside day-to-day Steamworks and localization management.
- Input system migration — replaced the outdated Rewired setup with Unity's Input System across the whole game, on all four platforms.
- Cutting system rework — rebuilt slicing to be far more precise — a core interaction players touch every single session.
- Seasonal updates & challenges — built the Cooking Challenge and Pretzel Challenge updates; planned update content that lifted player engagement and the review score by ~5%.
- Production workflow — developed a stable workflow for the live-ops team — update planning, task management, external communication.
